Founded in 1987 by Chef Zov Karamardian, legendary Zov’s Bistro & Bakery in Tustin, CA has become a culinary institution. Serving her unique cuisine that blends contemporary cuisine with Eastern Mediterranean influences, in an upscale chic environment.
Family support has constantly been Zov’s foundation and inspiration throughout her
culinary career. Zov, in addition to her husband, Gary, her son Armen, and her daughter Taleene, have created a rare family business recipe that has taken the comforting creations of the family kitchen blended with Chef Zov’s culinary artistry.
Over the years, the Bistro in Tustin has expanded into 12,000 sq. ft., encompassing a luxurious private banquet room, cooking classes and a busy catering division that brings Zov’s culinary style to homes and special events throughout Southern California.
In answer to requests by generation of loyal guests for a location in their own communities, Zov opened in Newport Coast and Irvine with Zov’s Neighborhood Cafés & Bars in 2007. The new locations blend the casual side of the Cafe while offering some of the signature dishes from the Bistro. The look is upscale, warm and inviting serving lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and happy hour. Both locations also offer a take-out family menu and event catering.

Restaurateur Zov Karamardian of Tustin received Women of Valor Award at a benefit for the American Diabetes Assn. She was honored for her work on behalf of her community.

National Association of Women Business Owners recognized Zov for achievements in the restaurant business and culinary worlds and described her as a model to other female entrepreneurs.
Pacesetter Award
presented by the Roundtable for Women in Food service. Zov is one of five women in the nation to receive the Entrepreneur of the Year accolade.
